Easy Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie

This easy butterscotch cinnamon pie is perfect for just about any occasion, but it's an especially great dessert option for Thanksgiving.

INGREDIENTS - Butter - Sugar - Flour - Salt - Milk - Brown sugar - Arrowroot - Cinnamon - Vanilla

STEP 1: Using an electric mixer, cream the butter with the sugar.

STEP 2: Add the flour and salt and mix on low speed until shortbread crust forms.

STEP 3: Press the crust into a greased pie dish. Bake for 14-15 minutes. Cool completely. 

STEP 4: In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the milk, brown sugar, arrowroot, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Cook until mixture thickens, about 10-12 minutes.

STEP 5: Remove from heat and add the butter. Mix until melted. Set aside to cool completely.

STEP 6: Pour filling into cooled crust. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
