Ingredients
1cup (240ml)whole milk
½tablespoonarrowroot
½teaspooncinnamon
¼teaspoonvanilla extract
splashheavy cream
6slicesgluten free bread
Instructions
In a shallow dish, combine the milk, arrowroot, cinnamon, vanilla, and heavy cream.

Working one at a time, dip each slice of bread in the milk mixture, using a fork to flip and coat both sides.
6 slices gluten free bread
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray, or line with parchment paper. Arrange slices of bread in a single layer in the basket. Air fryer on 400°F for 5 minutes, then flip each slice and air fry for another 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
Notes
Whole milk works best, but you can substitute with non-dairy milk for dairy-free French toast.
If you are not on a gluten free diet, feel free to use any sliced bread you like.
If your gluten free bread is refrigerated or frozen, be sure to thaw at room temperature until it's soft.
As with any French toast recipe, stale bread works best.
